Japanese Zen Facial Massage

I just finished a Japanese Zen Facial massage class by Wolfgang Luckman.  We learned a holistic approach to treating the skin..from the inside...out, starting with our "life force" or "Qi".  This services begins at the feet and works upward. Balancing Qi and clearing out meridians is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  By combining these acupressure techniques with specific essential oils we can bring the body, spirit, mind into the present moment and away from worry, grief, stress, fear and anger....which can cause premature aging and break outs. Using Japanese massage strokes we can reduce fine lines, clear up blemishes, and tighten skin. You can enjoy this 30 min service on it's own or combine it with a PHYT's facial for a 75 min session. Which ever you choose..you will leave feeling balanced and beautiful!

We are adding another therapist, Jennifer Holihan-Collazo

We are so thankful for our busy schedules and we decided to bring in another massage therapists for the weekends.  I know many of our clients have a hard time finding a opening so this will help a lot.  She is moving here form Alpharetta and I she is a perfect fit for Drift. Jennifer has been a massage therapist for almost 3 years, but graduated from ASHA, whose graduates are typically 5 years ahead of graduates from most 
other schools. She specializes in integrated massage which uses neuromuscular therapy, swedish and sports massage and myofascial release taylored to each client. As well, she is certified in prenatal massage and will soon be studying Reiki. Healing and educating clients about their bodies is her passion.  She will start the first weekend in July.  So go ahead and schedule online :)

Nopalea wellness challenge

I took the Nopalea wellness challenge 2 months ago after a wonderful client gave me a month supply as a gift.  She had been telling me about it for over a year, but I never took the leap on my own.  I took 6 oz a day for 30 days and within 2 weeks my shoulder and neck pain drastically improved and I definately had more energy. I now order it every month. Aromatherapy

I use aromatherapy in all of my services. Pure essential oils can aid in pain relief, anxiety reduction, stimulation of brain function, and so much more.  The use of oils topically can sooth dry skin, clear blemishes, or calm sensitivity.  These oils are very powerful and must be handled with care.  I suggest choosing one oil at a time and building your collection from there.  It is important to dilute the essential oils with a carrier oil to avoid skin irritation. Finished with school

I'm finally done with the esthetics program at Athens Tech.  It was a lot of fun and best of all, it's what brought me to Athens.  I have fallen in love with this town and all the great people.  My business has been a tremendous blessing and there is no turning back.    I will also be offering combination services incorporating massage techniques and skin care.
